This companion to The Green Witch teaches the making of a grimoire: the witch's own book of spells, records and reflections. Murphy-Hiscock is precise about what the volume is, a guide rather than a grimoire itself, aimed at readers with some grounding in energy work who want their practice recorded somewhere it can grow. Part one covers the building. Chapters define what a grimoire has been through history and the three functions a modern one serves, then walk the actual decisions: bound book, binder, modular system, pocket book or digital file; paper, ink and decoration; blessing the book and protecting privacy; setting up sections and an index; and creating herbal entries enriched with pressed samples and nature-based art. Part two puts the book to work in practice: using it to deepen connection to spirit, in divination and spellcraft, in recording rituals honestly, and in journaling as a spiritual discipline, with prompts throughout and a closing chapter on honoring the grimoire as a record of one's values. The result is witchcraft as authorship: the practitioner writing themselves into their own tradition.
