The Shem HaMephorash, the 72-part Name derived from Exodus, is the backbone of practical Kabbalah, and Baal Kadmon's The 72 Names of God: The 72 Keys of Transformation presents it as a working system. Chapters cover what is in a name, the power of Hebrew letters, the significance of the 72 Names of God, and then the powers of the individual names, each treated as a key to a specific transformation, before the book teaches the method of using them. At 189 pages this is the longest of the author's Sacred Names volumes and functions as the reference the shorter name books draw on. The framing is practical rather than academic: the names are given as keys, the reader is shown how to select and recite them, and no Hebrew background is assumed. First published in 2015, it stands at the center of the series alongside the 42-letter Name and the angelic and demonic mirror volumes.
